How much does this cost?
TextPromoter does not charge you, the end-consumer, anything to receive a message. However, depending on your specific wireless carrier and pricing plan/package, you may be charged a standard rate for sms messages sent and received. The average price for sending and receiving sms text messages ranges anywhere from free to 20 cents.

How do I join a list?
You can opt-in to receive alerts from one or many different TextPromoter clients. These clients, normally bars, nightclubs and entertainment venues often run promotions encouraging their customers to “opt-in.”
“Opting-In” is the process by which you give permission to a TextPromoter client to send you SMS messages from time to time.
How many messages will I receive?
The number of messages you’ll receive each month varies from client to client but is usually about one message per week. Rest assured, you will only receive messages from the TextPromoter client/service you “opt-in” for.
We are compliant with all U.S. Carriers; each message you recieve from a TextPromoter client will have instructions for opting out. For example, reply 'stop' to quit If your phone does not allow you to reply, simple create a new message to the same short code with the 'stop' reply. You can stop all TextPromoter alerts at any time by sending 'stop all' to the short code for which you are receiving alerts.
