Results: “Friday Night was the first text messaging blast. It was sent to keywords “dance” and “party." The reason I limited it to those two keywords was based on the knowledge that it was the demographic I am trying to attract at 11pm on a Friday night. The offer was for free cover and 2-4-1 drinks from 11pm-Close.
We had around 250 people who received our offer. Of the 250, 75 people came in and showed the phone. The most impressive part was that those people did not come alone. Tracking was slightly difficult but it appeared that those 75 people brought in at least an additional 75 people.”
Case Study: Nightcub
Venue Type: Nightclub

Objective: We wanted to pack the bar early on NYE.
Solution: We offered our vip text members (550 people) a free bottle of champagne when they showed their text message to the door staff. In order to get the free champagne the they had to pay a $20 cover, bring at least one guest and arrive by 10pm.

Result: We gave away nearly 10 cases of champagne (112 bottles to be exact) and the text message blast accounted for over 225 people through the door! Net sales from this promotion were $14,025 ($55 per person).
